Jeff Jewitt, noted teacher, author, and proprietor of "Homestead Finishing Products", is conducting a detailed 2-day finishing workshop. You can register for either day separately, or both days with a $25 discount.

Coloring and finishing wood is a process that frustrates many woodworkers. In just 2 days, the Jewitt workshop will make your hit-or-miss approach to finishing a thing of the past.

On day 1, Jeff will cover surface preparation, pore filling, and adding color with dyes, stains, chemicals, and glazes. Sure fire techniques for dealing with glue stains, blotching, and end grain are thoroughly covered.

On day 2, the application of oils, varnishes, lacquers, shellacs, and water borne finishes will be addressed in detail. Jeff will teach both the hand application of finishes as well as the use of spray equipment for the home and small professional shop.

Finally, learn how to confidently achieve beautiful finishes on your hand-crafted masterpieces.
