Build an attractive stool suitable for sitting at a kitchen counter (9" by 17" seat, 23" tall). It features splayed, curved legs and a scooped seat. There are almost no 90 degree angles in this piece.

This course teaches not only a great project, but also how to build and use various jigs which make difficult details easy to execute. Among others, we will use jigs for the scooped seat (a router based gimble device), for the shaped legs (pattern routing or pattern shaping), for a drill press to create the leg tenons and to drill the round mortises at the correct angle, and for mortising at an angle.

Course fee (including materials fee) $600
