Small Treasure Boxes
Small Treasure Boxes
Instructor - Craig Stevens
July 8 & 15, 2024 6pm - 9pm (2 Monday evenings)
Make a pair of mitered treasure boxes that handsomely show off complementing wood colors, patterns, and grain. Contrasting hardwood splines decorate the boxes and help strengthen the miter joints. The interior is left open for storing or presenting small treasures. The boxes are 2” tall and 3 1/2” square.
Choose from a variety of wood species to assemble the projects to your liking. These small boxes are a lot of fun to both make and present as gifts. Be prepared to take orders for more boxes from family and friends! Participants will make 2 boxes and will come away with the techniques necessary to make the project again in their own workspace.
Cost includes all materials. No tools required. Students provide their own lunch for daytime classes.
