This summer, give your child the opportunity to unleash their creativity at PFW’s Woodworking Summer Camp! Designed for young makers, this hands-on camp introduces kids to a variety of woodworking tools and techniques in a fun and safe environment. Campers will have the chance to create their own birdhouse and a 4-leg stool, learning valuable skills such as measuring, cutting, sanding, and assembling while building these practical projects.

Guided by skilled instructors, kids will explore different tools, from hammers and saws to drills and sanders, all while discovering how to bring their ideas to life. This camp is perfect for beginners and young enthusiasts eager to develop their craft, problem-solving abilities, and creativity. By the end of the camp, your child will leave with their very own handcrafted projects, along with a newfound passion for woodworking!

• Woodworking safety will be stressed throughout the camp and safety glasses and hearing protection will be worn when using tools

• Parents are welcome to stay and work with their kids if they like

• Hand tools include: rulers, saws, screwdrivers, sandpaper, hammers, clamps. We’ll also be using cordless drills.
